We are saddened to hear that many lost their lives and were injured when a fire broke out last night in the historical Chawkbazar District of Dhaka.

We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the fire, convey our condolences to the families of the victims and to the friendly and brotherly people and Government of Bangladesh, and wish speedy recovery to the wounded.
