We condemn the continuation of ballistic missile launches by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), including the latest ones on 3 August 2016. These launches, in addition to those made on 9 and 19 July 2016, violate DPRK’s international obligations and constitute continued threat to regional, as well as international security and stability.

We renew our call on the DPRK to cease ballistic missile launches together with its activities related to weapons of mass destruction. We expect the DPRK to comply with its international obligations under relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
